Tanzania’s President Samia Suluhu last night appointed Dr Pindi Hazara Chana as the Minister for Natural Resources and Tourism replacing Dr Damas Ndumbaro who has been reassigned to the Ministry of Constitution and legal Affairs.
In a mini cabinet reshuffle President Samia Suluhu Hassan yesterday appointed Dr Pindi Hazara Chana who was the Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office (Parliament, Policy and Coordination ) as new Minister for Natural Resources and Tourism Dr Damas Ndumbaro who has been reassigned to Ministry of Constitution and legal Affairs.
Pindi Hazara Chana (born 24 January 1974) is a Tanzanian CCM politician and a special seat Member of Parliament since 2010. She has served as Deputy Minister of Community Development, Gender and Children. 2014 – 2016.She also served as Tanzania’s High Commissioner to Kenya accredited to South Sudan, Seychelles, Somalia, Eritrea, UNEP and UN – Habitat.
