Kenya to resume international flights from Aug.1

International flights to Kenya are set to resume on August 1. The President of the East African country Uhuru Kenyatta confirmed this in his address to the nation on Monday July 6.

He earlier also confirmed that domestic flight operations will resume 15 July.

It will be subjected to the adherence of health and safety protocols of the Ministry of health as well as the international civil aviation protocols.

The country’s borders were closed following the corona virus outbreak.

It is expected to pave the way for the resumption of international tourism activities.

It is  however unclear if quarantine measures will be mandatory.
