Pride in Hotel to reopen

Pride Inn Hotels is set to reopen its doors to guests in June.

The Managing Director Hasnain Noorani of the hotel group has revealed.

The facility had shut down in march when Covid19 hit the country.

The managing director has reiterated that they have adhered to the regulations as stipulated by the government through the ministry of health.

He further noted that, the hotel has finished renovations and maintenance activities to some of the Hotels that were initiated after the hotels closed down due to the Pandemic.

‘’We are through with the renovations and maintenance activities that we had initiated in some of the Nairobi and Mombasa hotels. We have also intensively sanitized and disinfected all our hotel facilities and restaurants that had suspended operations over the coronavirus pandemic, what is remaining are some minor repairs which will be through by the end of this week,” he added.

Recently, the Kenyan government announced a stimulus package to the tourism sector which will see facilities access soft loans through the Tourism Finance Corporation (TFC).

The global trends have seen countries relaxing covid-19 restrictions in a bid to revive their economies

The Chairman of Kenya Coast Tourism Association, Victor Shitakha said, they are encouraging hoteliers to take extraordinary measures to make guests feel comfortable coming back to hotels and local attractions.

The reopening of Pride Inn Hotels is a welcome relief to the sector.
